• Building Inspection Planning

  Enforces Chapter 215 (Building Construction) of the Village code. Effective August 2025 the Village contracts with SAFEbuilt for all building inspection services; inspections must be scheduled by 4pm for next business day.

• Clerk Clerk

  The Village Clerk administers elections, assists the public with applications for licenses or permits required by state law or local ordinance, posts agendas for all board and committee meetings, and attends and prepares minutes of all Village meetings.

• Parks, Public Works & Forestry Public Works

  The Public Works Department maintains Village roadways (about 80 lane miles), drainage systems and Village owned properties. The Parks, Public Works & Forestry Department provides curbside brush pickup April through November and a compost area in the DPW parking lot for Slinger residents. Report potholes or plugged catch basins by calling Village Hall.

• Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department Parks & Recreation

  Slinger Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department; manages park shelter reservations at Fireman's, Rotary, Rueckl, and Community Parks through an online reservation system.

• Police Department Police

  Slinger Police Department, located at 800 Enterprise Dr, serves the Village 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It consists of a Chief of Police, Captain, Lieutenant, a Detective/Investigator, nine sworn officers, two administrative staff and six crossing guards, and provides patrol, investigation, crime prevention/safety programs, and the Public Safety Cadet unit. Administrative office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm.

• Slinger Utilities Utilities

  Slinger Utilities is a municipally owned and operated electric and water utility serving more than 2,500 customers in Slinger, located in Village Hall at 300 Slinger Rd. Office open Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; after-hours emergency line 262-334-1930.

• Treasurer Finance

  The Village Treasurer is responsible for the accounting and financial operations of the Village and its four utilities (Electric, Water, Sewer and Stormwater), including the annual budget, the Statement of Taxes and tax collections, debt service, cash and risk management, and payables and receivables.

• Village Administrator Administration

  The Village Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Village government and its departments and utilities, reports to the Village Board, and works closely with Village Department Heads. Village Hall is at 300 Slinger Rd, Slinger, WI 53086, open Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
