• E.M.S. Department Fire

  Pocomoke City EMS, at 137 8th Street, provides first responder emergency medical care and emergency transport to area hospitals if needed. The municipal department employs twelve full-time personnel complemented by part-time and volunteer staff, and provides Basic and Advanced Life Support services with three Advanced Life Support ambulances. Open 24 hours, 7 days.

Sewer operations: lift station and pump station operation and maintenance, operation of the Biolac Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) treatment plant, and sewage sample analyses and reporting.
