Departments

• Administration/Finance Administration

  The Administration/Finance department is the first point of contact with the Town of Peralta. Administration manages the day to day operations of the Town and is responsible for accountability of all financial matters of the Town's business. Town Hall hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 90-A Molina Road. The Town has contracted with the Village of Bosque Farms to provide police services (per the Town's Police Department page).

• Animal Control Animal Services

  The Town of Peralta Animal Control Department oversees Town ordinances on animals at large, nuisance animals, neglect and abuse, impoundment, and State statutes on rabies control and animal bite reporting. The Town has animal traps for loan and rent.

• Code Enforcement Planning

  Code Enforcement provides education and enforcement efforts that promote voluntary compliance and prompt correction of violations. The Code Enforcement Officer is first contact for project plan reviews and authorizations for general construction, remodels and mobile home placement requests; address and street inquiries are routed through this office.

• Municipal Court Courts

  The Town of Peralta Municipal Court adjudicates violations of Town ordinances and criminal offenses within the Town, hearing petty misdemeanors and traffic violations. Court hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; night court Tuesday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Public Works Public Works

  Public Works is responsible for maintaining infrastructure and a clean and safe environment, and for street maintenance including regular grading of dirt roads and fixing potholes on paved roads.

• Utilities Department Utilities

  The Town of Peralta public utilities director manages the town waste water (sewer) system, including maintaining equipment and budgeting for repair and replacement. Kori Taylor (also Town Clerk) is listed as Director. After-hours sewer emergencies: 505-435-8326. The site also has a separate Sewer Department page, folded in here.

• Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Fire

  The Town of Peralta Fire Department is composed of volunteers who perform fire suppression and other related emergency services for the local jurisdiction, 24/7. It served Peralta for many years prior to the Town's incorporation in 2007.
