• Assessor Assessment

  The City Assessor's Office is responsible for the discovery, listing, classification, and valuation of all taxable real and personal property in the City of Omro for property tax purposes. • Building Permits and Inspections Planning

  Provides building permit applications, fee information, fence permits, chicken and bee permits, and inspection scheduling for construction and renovation projects in the City of Omro. Completed permit forms are returned to Omro City Hall with payment and forwarded to AJ Inspection, which handles follow-up questions and inspections.

• Carter Memorial Library Library

  Public library serving Omro, listed as the Library department in the City of Omro staff directory. The Library Board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at Carter Memorial Library at 4:30 PM, with no meeting in July or December.

• City Clerk Clerk

  The City Clerk's Office maintains city records (minutes, ordinances, resolutions, public notices), administers local elections, voter registration and absentee ballots, notices public meetings, processes business licenses and permits, and supports the City Council with agendas and minutes.   The City Administrator serves as the chief administrative officer of the City of Omro and is responsible for the professional administration and management of municipal government under the direction and policy guidance of the Mayor and Common Council.   Public Works maintains City of Omro streets (pothole repair, resurfacing, snow removal), manages water distribution and wastewater systems, helps maintain parks and recreational facilities, coordinates trash collection and recycling, and oversees infrastructure projects including road construction and stormwater management.
