    An independent authority formed in 2007 by the governing body of the City of Moody to manage the city's sewer system. Hours Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After-hours emergency number (205) 702-6126.

  • Moody Administration (City Clerk/Treasurer) Clerk

    The Administrative Offices, led by the City Clerk/Treasurer, handle city ordinances, public records and copy fees, annexation/deannexation petitions, alcohol license approvals, finance, audit and budget, bid lists, municipal election information and council agendas and minutes. Hours Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Moody Building/Inspections Department Planning

    Includes inspections, planning and zoning. Issues permits, determines proper land use and inspects new construction, renovations or other work requiring inspection for residential, commercial and business properties. Also provides 911 addressing, maps, flood plain and zoning information.

  • Moody Civic Center Parks & Recreation

    A 50,000+ square foot fitness, event, recreation and meeting complex with an indoor walking track, fitness room, racquetball, basketball and pickleball courts, three meeting rooms, a buffet room and a multipurpose gym with a built-in stage.

  • Moody Economic Development Economic Development

    Economic Development staff attract new businesses, assist existing businesses with growth and expansion, coordinate with the Moody Commercial Development Authority, the Zoning Board and Building Permits, and work with the Chamber of Commerce.

  • Moody Fire and Rescue Fire

    Established April 1972, ISO rating 5/10. Provides fire suppression, advanced emergency medical services, rescue, natural disaster response, and fire prevention, investigation and education from a single station. Firefighters/paramedics work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Human Resources handles payroll, benefits/insurance and job openings for the City of Moody.
