    Code enforcement office. The Code Enforcement Officer enforces the New York State Building and Fire Code within the City, ensures local zoning and planning laws are enforced, issues building permits and makes periodic and final inspections.

    City Assessor's office, open Thursdays 8:30-4:00 at City Hall. Estimates the value of real property within the City, maintains the assessment roll, and accepts, reviews and processes property tax exemption applications (filing deadline March 1).

  • City Clerk Clerk

    City Clerk's office at City Hall, 659 E. Main Street. Provides vital records (birth, death, marriage), genealogical services, handicap parking applications, event and vendor/solicitor permits, hunting and fishing decals, dog licensing, marriage licenses, recycling bins, Moreland Park rental and rock climbing permits. Hours 8:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday.

    Established by a special act of the New York State Legislature in 1963; acts as an agent of the City in carrying out urban renewal activities and administers the Little Falls Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund and the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund. Meets monthly on the third Wednesday at 8:00 am in the Urban Renewal Conference Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall. Office hours 8 am-12:30 pm Monday-Thursday.
