Published duties include fire prevention through public education, inspections and code enforcement, fire suppression, vehicle extrication, rope, confined space and other technical rescue, hazardous material response, and advanced and basic life support transport.

    The Town of Honea Path Municipal Court hears cases involving traffic violations, criminal misdemeanors, and ordinance violations that occur within the Town limits, and schedules arraignments, bond hearings, pre-trial hearings, preliminary hearings, bench trials and jury trials as required. Court sessions are held in the Courtroom within the Watkins Community Center - Town Hall, 204 South Main Street. Court office hours Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
