• City Recorder Clerk

  The City Recorder is the Chief Financial Officer for the city, maintains records of public meeting minutes, agendas, ordinances and resolutions, is the Certified Records Officer, and responds to GRAMA record requests. Budgeting, payroll and payroll taxes, business licensing, HR and administering municipal elections are also the Recorder's responsibility.

• Gunnison City Cemetery

  City cemetery at 550 North Cemetery Road, Gunnison, staffed by a Sexton. Publishes burial site and opening/closing fees and cemetery rules and regulations.

  Gunnison City Court at 38 West Center St. Office hours Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM; the court clerk is only available by telephone or email.

• Gunnison Civic Library Library

  City library located in the city building (east side) at 38 West Center St. Hours: Mon 11-5, Tue 1-7, Wed 11-7, Thu 1-7, Fri 11-5, Sat 10-2. Offers story time Tuesdays at 10:00 am, a book club, an online card catalog, interlibrary loan ($3.00 shipping and handling), and iPad and hotspot lending.

• Gunnison Valley Fire Department Fire

  A volunteer fire department organized under an interlocal cooperation agreement between Centerfield, Fayette, Gunnison and Mayfield, managed by a Fire Board of representatives from the partnering cities and an appointed Fire Chief. It has 21 volunteer firefighters and also serves surrounding county properties and public lands. Station at 40 East 200 North, Gunnison.

  Gunnison City Parks & Recreation, staffed by a Supervisor. Rents the three pavilions at Gunnison Park.

  Gunnison City Planning & Zoning, staffed by a P&Z Administrator, P&Z Secretary and a contracted Land Use Hearing Officer. Planning & Zoning meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month. Publishes land use applications, the zoning map and land use ordinances.
