• AI and Data Management Information Technology

  Leads the Town's data management and use of artificial intelligence, and supports the systems and integrations that connect Town technology platforms. Led by the Town's Chief Information Officer.

  Recreation, sports, environmental, historical and cultural arts programs; operates the Town's parks, greenways, community centers and special venues including WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary Tennis Park, USA Baseball National Training Complex and Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Nationally accredited.

• Police Department Police

  Manages the Town's stormwater system and floodplain, including stormwater capital projects, development plan review for stormwater, field services and environmental compliance.
• Town Attorney's Office Legal

  Legal advisor for the Town Council and staff; manages the Town's real estate. Attorneys in the Office cannot give legal advice or representation to private citizens.
• Town Clerk's Office Clerk

  Supports the Town Council: gives notice of Council meetings, prepares the agenda and records proceedings, is custodian of permanent Town records, keeps the Town seal, updates the Code of Ordinances, and keeps records of board and commission appointments.

• Town Manager's Office Administration

  Includes the Town Manager along with the Deputy and Assistant Town Managers, Strategy, Special Projects, Organizational Development, Budget and Capital Planning, Downtown Services, Environment, Marketing and Communications, and 311. The Town Manager implements the policies set by the Town Council and manages all operational departments.
