• Bloomfield Highway Department Public Works

  Responsible for routine maintenance and repair of Village and Town owned pavements and surface infrastructure within the street right-of-way (83.96 miles), except County or State roads: road construction projects, records and maps, coordination with utilities, snow and ice control, mowing of municipal land and traffic signs. Hours 7:00am-3:30pm.

• Bloomfield Municipal Court Courts

  The Municipal Court deals exclusively with non-criminal cases involving Village and Town ordinance violations, in the form of traffic citations and Municipal Code violations, occurring within Village and Town limits. Located at N1100 Town Hall Rd, Pell Lake. Court clerk hours Tuesday-Thursday 12pm-4:00pm.

  Building inspection is provided by Professional Building Inspections Inc. A building permit must be obtained from the Building Inspector before construction or moving of any building or structure within the Village of Bloomfield. Hours: Wednesdays 10:00am-11:30am.

• Code Enforcement Planning

  Residents who notice a potential violation may submit a formal complaint, which is reviewed and investigated by the Code Enforcement Officer. Hours: Mondays-Tuesdays 10:00am-3:00pm; Wednesdays 9:00am-12:00pm except the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

  The Village Administrator serves as the chief administrative officer for the daily operations of the Village and reports directly to the Village Board of Trustees; duties include supervising municipal operations and departments, handling complaints, inquiries and public records requests, implementing Village Board policy, personnel and benefits administration, purchasing, and preparing the annual budget.

• Village Clerk / Treasurer Clerk

  The Clerk works under the direction of the Village Administrator; duties include administering municipal elections, notice of board and committee meetings and minutes, maintaining ordinances and resolutions, alcohol, business and special event licenses/permits, and management of the annual Board of Review. The Treasurer processes all funds received and disbursed by the Village and collects taxes. Hours Monday-Thursday 8:15am-4pm, Fridays 8:15am-Noon.
