• Shawnee County Community Corrections Police

  Provides adult Intensive Supervised Probation and juvenile services (Juvenile Intensive Supervised Probation and Case Management) for the 3rd Judicial District (Shawnee County), a state and local partnership with the Kansas Department of Corrections. Returned to the supervision of the Shawnee County Department of Corrections effective June 1, 2019.

Handles unincorporated county building permits, zoning, floodplain management, wastewater and water services, nuisance and zoning complaints, solid waste and landfill inspections, fireworks stand permits, school inspections and rabies animal quarantines; supports the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.
