    Administers the county's HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and HOME funds to provide affordable housing, economic opportunities and suitable living environments.

  • Cross Insurance Arena

    County-owned multi-purpose entertainment and sports facility, governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the County Commissioners.

  • District Attorney Legal

    Prosecutes criminal cases (except murders, handled by the Attorney General) in Prosecutorial District 2, which is Cumberland County. Located in the Cumberland County Courthouse.

  • Emergency Management Agency Emergency Management

    Provides all-hazards disaster management services to Cumberland County communities before, during and after large-scale disasters: planning, mitigation, surge response capacity and recovery coordination.

  • Executive Office Administration

    Implements the Board of County Commissioners' policies, represents the county with other governmental agencies, and leads county departments; led by the County Manager, who is appointed by the commissioners.     Handles wills and estates, name changes, adoptions, guardianships and conservatorships for Cumberland County, and maintains probate records from 1908 to the present. Also offers passport services by appointment.

  • Public Health Department Health

    Promotes wellbeing and protects community health through chronic disease prevention, behavioral public health, substance use and tobacco prevention, and violence intervention programs.

  • Regional Assessing Assessment

    Provides real and personal property assessing services to municipalities that contract with Cumberland County (Baldwin, Casco, Falmouth, Gorham, North Yarmouth, Yarmouth).

  • Regional Communications Center Emergency Management

    Public safety emergency communications center providing emergency and non-emergency dispatch for many public safety agencies in Cumberland County; Public Safety Answering Point for 19 communities. In an emergency dial 9-1-1.

  • Regional Training Fire EMS Fire

    Office of the County Fire / EMS Coordinator: training, data management, group purchasing and municipal support for Fire and EMS departments in Cumberland County.

  • Registry of Deeds Clerk

    Constitutional office governed by the Register of Deeds; the official recording and filing office for all legal documents affecting real estate in Cumberland County.

  • Sheriff's Office Police

    Cumberland County Sheriff's Office: patrol, criminal investigations, civil process, and corrections (Cumberland County Jail).
