Description

La Junta has a council-manager form of government; the City Council appoints a City Manager who carries out the council's policies and directives, oversees daily affairs, develops the budget and appoints department heads. The City Attorney, appointed by the City Council, provides legal advice to the Council, staff, and boards and commissions, and does not provide legal services to the public. Municipal Building, 601 Colorado; hours Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 11:30 am.
